Biography

Devrim Kadirbeyoğlu is a multimedia artist whose installations, performances, and videos transform everyday materials into participatory experiences where the personal meets the collective. Her work often begins with what is close at hand—an object, a memory, a habit—and expands it into a space of shared reflection.

Through subtle gestures and constructed environments, Kadirbeyoğlu invites audiences to inhabit the fragile thresholds between intimacy and distance, presence and absence, the private and public, and self and society.

She studied Sculptural Ceramics and Glass at the Fine Arts Academy of Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul. She earned an MFA from the Studio for Interrelated Media at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Multimedia and New Technologies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.

Her projects have been presented across Turkey, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the U.S., with solo exhibitions in New York, The Hague, and Istanbul.
